Dungeons & Dragons Unveiled the first look at an all-new statue of the infamous Lech Vicana. earlier this week, Dungeons & Dragons A first look has revealed an all-new statue of Vecna, the nefarious deity whose hand and eye are some of the most powerful magical elements in the D&D tradition. The statue was displayed during a deep-dive video featuring D&D narrative leader Chris Perkins, who explained the history of Vecna during the various versions of the game. The new Vecna will be produced by WizKids, and is due for release later this year. You can select the scope of the video showing the new statue below:
Vecna is a notorious deity god terrify multiple realities. The character was first mentioned early Dungeons & Dragons Sequel, when his hand and eye appeared as powerful magical artifacts. In order to use either item, the player character had to cut off his hand or goug out his eye and replace the missing part of the body with the artifact itself. Vecna eventually appeared as a villain in several D&D adventures, was temporarily transformed into Ravenloft, and eventually returned as a rising deity.
Notably, Vecna is one of the few famous D&D “big bad guys” that didn’t appear in the 5th Edition adventure. The character appeared as the ultimate opponent in critical role His first campaign, but he has yet to appear in an adventure produced by Wizards of the Coast. This makes the updated Vecna’s appearance more interesting, as it indicates that the Wizards have some kind of plans for the infamous lich. Updated Vecna skin also appeared on Funko POP! The figure was released late last year. We’ll add that a return to Vecna is also scheduled for the next season of Weird things This season’s opponent is named after the infamous lich.
In the meantime, requests are activated for New Vecna on WizKids. The number will cost $262.49 and be released later this year.
